Basic Shifter Forms
Gaia blessed all her children with the ability to change forms between their human side and their animal sides. As a standard there are five basic forms that are recognized among most all shape changers. The names for these different forms vary from shifter to shifter, along with the over all stats, advantages, and whether or not the form incites full delirium or only reduced delirium. Shape changing usually requires an expending of Rage to reach a particular form, however to revert back to ones breed form (what you were born as) is completely free. However, because of the spirit nature of this transformation inherent in all of Gaias' children, shifting forms in the umbra is completely free of any charge. Below are the five Garou forms. These can be equivocated to most all the other Fera forms, with the exception of the Ratkin, Mokolé, and Corax who only have three forms, along with the Ananasi who have four.
Ananasi
Unlike the other shapechangers who normally have five or three forms, Ananasi have four forms.
Homid
This form on the surface resembles the human body in size shape and other physical features. However there are some striking differences. After Metamorphosis, the body undergoes several alteration. The internal organs are no longer precisely human. Blood chemistry alters to accommodate with both human hemoglobin (which is iron based) and spider hemocyanin (which is copper based). This form also possess vestigial fangs and pedipals in the mouth. Lungs become a hybrid of spider book lungs and normal lungs. Despite these changes, the Homid form is interfertile with normal humans.
Lilian
This is the Crinos of the werespider. Combining both human and spider, the Lilian form appears both formidable and disturbing. Whiles appearance differs from individual to individual, it has some general characteristics. An Exoskeleton develops, muscles alter drastically, and the the circulatory system becomes more spider-like. This form appears similar to a "spider-taur" with a four armed human torso planted upon a spider body. The Ananasi's face is a distrubing mix of spider and human with eight eyes and a fanged mouth. A male Ananasi who stands 6' in human form would tower about 8' in Lilian form. This form invokes full Delirium in mortals who see it.
Pithus
The pitspider form, this form is also know as the "The Big Fucking Spider" form. This form can range from the size of a dog to the size of truck. The physical changes include a mixture of spider and human organs, including the lungs. Flesh and chitin become tougher and more powerful. The circulatory system becomes more hydraulic allowing the Pithus to shift their weight about and increase their strength where it matters most. This form can produce webs like steel cables and can be used to bite and claw. Like Lilian form, this form causes full Delirium.
Crawling
While Ananasi are creepy over all, this form truly makes the spider folk shudder worthy. Whiles all other shape changers animal forms are but one single animal, this form is made up of hundreds if not thousands of normal sized spiders. The mass of spiders is equal to that of the Ananasis' homid form. When in this form, they usually designates some spiders as leaders whiles others are followers. The 'Leaders' posses the sum of the Ananasi's memories and consciousness and direct the movement of the followers. This form is best for escape, hiding or infiltrating an enemy hideout. After all, who would expect the spider? What's more total destruction of the Ananasi can only be done with fire. Even if one spider survives, they survive. Though if destruction of 30 percent of the Crawlerings happen, then the personality, abilities and memories of that Ananasi will change drastically. Crawling can produce webs as normal spiders do. Although the form itself doesn't invoke Delirium, seeing an Ananasi breakdown into crawling form will exhibit the full effects of Delirium.

Corax
Corax, like Mokole and Ratkin, have only three forms. That may seem like skimping it. But Gaia didn't make them for fighting, She made them for information gathering and talking to the other Fera. And you don't need a big nine foot form with teeth and claws for that.
Homid
Corax in their homid form have been described as "underfed punk rockers" with black hair, eyes and clothing. They tend to be small and thin, slightly pale and usually have sharp noses. Most Corax have ring fingers longer than their middle ones.
Crinos
The Crinos form is a very awkward half-avian creature. The Corax generally only use this form to fight off enemies long enough to escape, and then only in times when they are left without an alternative. Most of the breed's combat-related Gifts function only in Crinos form.
Corvid
The Corvid form is essentially that of a common raven, though Corax are particularly large birds that are closer in size to eagles.

Garou
Below are the five Garou forms. These can be equivocated to most all the other Fera forms, with the exception of the Ratkin, Mokolé, and Corax who only have three forms, along with the Ananasi who have four.
Homid
The homid form is the standard human form for all garou. Apart from The Curse, it is relatively difficult to tell a garou in homid form apart from that of a normal human without supernatural assistance, and thus this form is used primarily used to blend in with humans. Garou who are born as wolves tend to be a bit more minimalistic in this form, ranging from physical features (more hair, lithe build) to behavioral patterns (attentiveness, sniffing the air, "wolflike" behavior).
Glabro
In glabro form, a werewolf gains height and weight as compared to homid form, as well as added strength. Werewolves in this form tend to take on some characteristics that of old werewolf horror movies; additional hair, sharp nails, sharp teeth, etc. Most people can realize that a werewolf in this form is not a normal human. However in some uncommon cases, a garou is able to take this form and still pass for that of a bulky human.
Crinos
The crinos form is the war form of the werewolves. They gain exceedingly more mass and become incredibly strong in crinos form, which stands roughly around nine feet tall. The head becomes savagely wolflike as the rest of the body is covered in fur, the subject gains a tail, and the body adjusts to that of what could be explained as a bipedial canine (Although the crinos is just as comfortable running on four legs as much as it is on two). The claws and teeth of a crinos become weapons of destruction, able to cause massive damage easily to most anything that can be torn into.
The crinos form also instigates the delirium into humans, causing most to flee in terror from the werewolf.
Hispo
A werewolf in hispo form resembles that of a dire wolf. It appears to be a large, prehistoric-looking beast with great power. The hispo form is quadrupedal, however the claws are capable of massive damage similar to that of the crinos form. The hispo's jaws are stronger than Crinos jaws, and thus ravaging an opponent with even more damage. This extra damage makes this form more attractive to Lupus garou and a preferred war-form.
Lupus
The lupus form is the standard wolf form for the garou. As said before, it is difficult to tell the garou apart from that of a normal wolf without some sort of supernatural aid. This form is lithe and agile, making it the best form for running long distances in.
Regular wolves can usually tell that something is amiss about the werewolf, though. As a result they will often attempt to avoid the garou, but in some cases a pack will accept one into their family (in most cases only if it is born into a wolf pack).

Mokolé
Mokolé like Corax and Ratkin have three forms.
Homid
This form looks as any human would look like. The ethnicity in Homid usually depends on the creature's stream, although it is almost always of a warm climate. As the Apocalypse advances, the streams are becoming more and more culturally diverse.
Archid
This form is what makes the weredragons formidable. This intermediary form is an amalgam of the Mokolé's genetic memory and is dreamed into existence. It may look like literally anything, from raging behemoths that have never been, to dragons, monsters, dinosaurs, sea serpents, or even small chicken likely dinosaurs. This form incites Full Delirium in humans.
Suchid
This is the reptilian or crocodilian form of the Mokolé.

See above descriptions for information regarding these forms. There are forms that are the equivalant of Glabro and Hispo, however Ratkin must learn special gifts for these forms.
